Advanced Management of Southwest Florida, Inc. (“AMI”) announces the opening of their Longboat Key Office. The office is located in the Mediterranean Plaza at 595 Bay Isles Road, Suite 120H, Longboat Key, Florida 34228. The telephone number is (941) 383-3200.

The initial staff includes Neil Fleet and Robin Nystrom. Neil Fleet has twenty years experience in Management and four years of Association Property Management experience with Beth Callans Management. Robin Nystrom has ten years experience in Association Management Administration with Beth Callans Management.

“Our office on Longboat Key allows us to continue the responsive service that communities on the Key expect,” said Mr. Fleet. Ms. Nystrom added, “The advanced accounting and web based systems of AMI bring a whole new level of communication to association members and the Board of Directors”.

Initial clients include: Bay Isles, Burns Court Villas, Diplomat Resort, Lido Beach Club, Sabal Cove, Weston Pointe and Cipriani @ Venetian Golf and River Club.

Donna Jordan Receives PCAM Designation

Donna Jordan of AMI – Advanced Management, Inc. – Venice, Florida recently joined the elite group of community association managers who have earned the Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) designation from Community Associations Institute (CAI). Donna is one of more than 1,600 managers nationwide who have earned the highest level of professional recognition in the community association field.

CAI is a national organization dedicated to fostering vibrant, responsive, competent community associations. Some 59 million Americans live in the nations estimated 250,000 association-governed communities.

To earn the PCAM designation, managers must have five years of community association management experience and complete more than 100 hours of course work. In addition, PCAM designees must fulfill continuing education and service requirements and adhere to a code of ethics.

Professional managers provide administrative, operational and managerial counsel to community association Boards. The typically are responsible for managing budgets and contractors, directing association personnel and overseeing compliance with association covenants and restrictions.

CAI and it 58 state, regional and local chapters work on behalf of the professionals and volunteers engaged in the management and governance of homeowner and condominium associations, cooperatives and other planned communities. CAI’s 28,000 members include community association volunteer leaders, managers, management companies and businesses that provide products and services to these communities.

Donna Jordan Promoted to
Venice Office Manager

Donna Jordan has been promoted to the position of office manager for the Venice Office. The current office manager, Mathew Wilson, is moving to Denver, CO to start a new management company there. Donna has been with AMI for 14 years and has over 18 years in the association management industry. Prior to joining AMI, she has had extensive experience in Administrative, Accounting and Personnel responsibilities as well as in government and institution contracting. She has a number of professional designations beyond being a Licensed Community Association Manager and most recently achieved the highest national professional designation for Managers, the PCAM designation.

Mathew Wilson to Start Management
Company In Colorado

Mathew Wilson has decided to venture off to Colorado to start an association management company there. The company will be located in Denver and will be servicing residential and commercial properties. Mathew will continue to be involved in the operations of AMI and will continue to hold the office of Vice-President. We all wish him well on his new endeavor.
